Our aim is to bring together the community of creatives in West Oakland to amplify its influence as a collaborative force for the community's self-determination and cultural renaissance.

Your donation helps bring artists, storytellers, creative organizations, and community members together to celebrate West Oakland's voices, visions, and resilience, gained through connection, pride, and collaboration.

Every gift counts. Whether large or small, a one-time donation or a monthly contribution helps us:

  • Produce community-led storytelling and art projects

  • Provide resources to local creatives and neighborhood leaders

  • Host free public events and workshops that uplift culture and connection

With your contribution, you or your business will be publicly recognized as a sponsor, given your permission.

  • $20 donation supports West Oakland Matters as a free event accessible to all 

  • $50 donation supports an artist's investment in showing work at WOM  

  • $150 donation sponsors the addition of another event program or artist
     

  • $300 + acknowledgement during program and in the Event catalog

  • $1000 + VIP table during the event, and press mention, as a WOM co-sponsor
